Talos - our handsome gentle, young prince. An import from the famous Gerassi Corso Kennel in Israel. Strikingly beautiful and intelligent he is already an impressive young male at just 6 months of age.  He strives to please and thrives on our affection.  His trusting spirit is endearing.

The origin of Talos's name is as unique as Talos himself. We originally took the name Talos from the Greek mythology, recalling an impressive beast. Talos , meaning "the sun" was a giant guardian made from bronze.  He was made and given by the gods  to protect the Isle of Crete from invaders and pirates. Magen-Olam means in Hebrew "the protector of the world", and was given to him in honor of his Israeli origin. We chose this name not only for its lyrical, melodic qualities but also for the strong visual imagery that the name conjures, reminding us of one of our favorite childhood films, "Jason and The Argonauts" (1963)...
